Heartland Applied Intelligence

The new employee, working a construction office.

Because getting paid is a paperwork job, and the paperwork is where the month goes.

Have a principal call me

A principal calls you back the same business day. After hours, you're the first call at 8 a.m.

Getting paid

The pay app goes out on the tenth instead of the first because the schedule of values is in one place, the progress data is in another, and the last change order hasn't been priced yet. The lien waiver from the drywall sub is still open. Somebody's COI expired last week and nobody caught it.

None of that is field work. All of it is the office work between you and the check.

The work it takes off your office

  • It drafts pay applications from the schedule of values and progress data, so billing goes out on the first, not the tenth.
  • It collects and tracks lien waivers by pay application, so nothing gets funded with a waiver missing.
  • It tracks every COI and chases renewals, so a lapsed sub never becomes your problem.
  • It matches subcontractor and material invoices against commitments and POs, so overbilling gets caught before the check run.
  • It prices change orders from RFI threads and marked-up plans, so you bill the change while the work is fresh.

...and a dozen jobs like them.

Your systems

We work inside Procore, Sage 300 CRE, Foundation, or whatever you run. We do not work around your contract, and we do not ask you to switch platforms to get value.

How we prove it

Discovery.Fixed fee, credited to the pilot. We rank the office work by hours saved, from AP to the pay-app desk. You get the ranked list either way.
Pilot. We grade against pay apps your office already billed and waivers your team already collected. It can look. It can't touch. Nothing writes to your systems until you've watched it be right on jobs you closed out.
Scale.More of the list, and a weekly report to the PM. You decide when it gets more rope. It earns it the same way a hire does.

Office work only. No jobsite scheduling, no safety, no anything with a hard hat on. If your problem lives in the field, we'll point you to someone who does that work.

Who shows up

You already keep an outside attorney and a CPA. We're that, for AI. Our principals run every engagement personally, and GC owners get a principal's cell. We're in our first pilots. You can talk to every owner running one. If a pilot isn't worth your company's time, we'll say so.

Have a principal call you.

A principal calls you back the same business day. After hours, you're the first call at 8 a.m. We'll meet at the office, or at the jobsite trailer if that's easier.

Your data stays in your systems. It never becomes anyone's training data. An employee under NDA.
