Privacy Policy
This site exists to do one thing: let you ask a principal of this firm to call you. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you give us when you do.
Who we are. Heartland Applied Intelligence is a firm serving established Midwest operating businesses, based in Lake Geneva, WI. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means Heartland Applied Intelligence and its principals, Matt Ripkey and Alex Svitnev. What we collect. The form on this site asks for four things: your name, your cell phone number, your company, and your industry. The site also records which page you submitted from and, if you arrived from a link with tracking tags, the campaign that link came from. We deliberately do not ask for your email address, your title, your company size, or your budget.
What we use it for. One thing: returning your call. When you submit the form, two things happen. First, an alert with your name, company, industry, phone number, and the page you submitted from is pushed to a principal's personal phone by text message and notification. We are a small firm; there is no call center, no CRM queue, and no sales team behind the form, so the honest description is that your information lands directly on the personal phone of the person who will call you. Second, you receive a text message from that principal's number letting you know the call is coming, so you can recognize the number instead of screening it.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not add you to a newsletter or a marketing list. Nothing you submit through this site is ever used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's, and the same commitment applies to client data in our engagements: your data stays in your systems, full stop.
Calls and texts (TCPA consent). By submitting the form, you agree that Heartland Applied Intelligence may call and text you at the number you provided, about your request. That consent covers the heads-up text described above, the callback, and any follow-up about scheduling that call. It does not sign you up for recurring marketing messages. Consent is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan. To stop text messages at any time, reply STOP to any text from us; to stop calls, tell the caller or email hello@heartland-applied.ai and we will stop.
Analytics. This site uses a single privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and form submissions in aggregate. It does not use advertising cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites.
How long we keep it. We keep your submission long enough to return your call and keep a basic record of the conversation. If nothing comes of it and you'd like your information gone, ask and we will delete it.
Your requests. To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email hello@heartland-applied.ai with your name and the phone number you submitted. A principal handles these requests personally and will respond within 30 days, and almost always much faster.
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If we form a legal entity or the way we handle your information changes in any meaningful way, we will update this page to say so plainly.
